First Day of School

Hey Guys!! Today was my first day at my new school. I was so excited to get up and get started with my day. My mom packed up all my school supplies from the list my teacher sent, and we were on our way. I played with my iPad all the way to school. I thought I would see Mrs. Stein, my teacher form last year, but she wasn't there. I have a new teacher, Mrs. Becca. She met me in the hallway and she was really nice.

In my new school, there are only 8 kids in my class and there are 4 adults in the room! I never had to ask for anything because someone was always there. There's even a bathroom in the class room, so I couldn't sneak out and run to the office like I did in my old school. I don't know the other kids name yet, but they seem really nice. There is one girl in the class and the rest are boys. That's because Autism affects mostly boys. My mom, as usual, over dressed me. All the other kids had on blue jeans and jogging shorts, and I had on all white. My mom just doesn't care! She loves bleach I guess.

I played basket ball at recess and played on the bike too! I had the best day! I was tired when my dad and grandpa picked me up, so I took a quick nap in the back of the van to revive myself, I had a trampoline to jump on when I got home!

At school, they have a room full of toys! They said it was the sensory room but to me, it was Nirvana... There were swings that looked like a hammock that hugs you when you get in, there was a pit full of balls like at Chuckie Cheese, but without the feet smell, there was a skate board to sit on and things to jump on... It was too much! I can't wait to go back on Monday!

My mom didn't have the best day. Dad said she cried all day because I was with strangers. I hope she does better next week because I am definitely going back. They fixed me breakfast, I had my lunch and then I had a snack. The next thing you know, it was time to go.

Maybe she'll do better when she is running around late for work, then she won't have time to miss me. When she saw me, she kissed me almost to death. I mean really Mom! I thought we cut the cord 6 years ago....
